Salah al-Din in nine hospitals and 13 general medical clinic. In 2003 there were 302 general practitioner in the province.
Infrastructure
One of the main roads leading north from Baghdad heading to Samarra and Tikrit and Baiji also pass on their way to Mosul. There are ways of connecting with Saladin Tikrit, Kirkuk, Baiji and Haditha and Qaim border point with Syria. Railway President of Iraq from north to south, passes through the Salah al-Din with a service from Baghdad to Mosul through Tikrit. Economic profile
Economic activity in the Salah al-Din is based on agriculture. 44% of the workforce to keep working in the agriculture sector, the highest percentage among all the 18 governorates. In maintaining a large number of orchards, grapes and apple trees and citrus trees under cultivation. Petrochemicals also gives a great potential to expand the industrial base in Salahuddin.
The province also serve as an excellent tourist place because of the many Islamic shrines and mosques in which the task. Samarra is the center of many of the Iraqi historical gems, surrounded by some of the ancient monuments in the world
